Church Partners
Community Networks make it easy for churches to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their local area.
Every request submitted by a child-serving agency is an opportunity for your church to put faith into action by meeting real-time needs that can create a lasting impact.
When responding to needs, your church can build meaningful connections that have the power to transform both the families you serve and your congregation.
The Church is called to care.
But it’s not always easy to know how, where, or when.
Turn compassion into action by meeting real-time needs & making meaningful connections in your local community.
The Opportunity for the Church
Large gaps frequently exist between families in need, agencies providing front-line care, and local churches that want to make a difference but are unaware of the needs.
Community Networks bridge that gap by connecting agencies with churches that want to make a real difference.
The CarePortal, the technology tool we use to connect our Community Networks, Church Response Teams receive alerts any time an agency in their area submits a request on behalf of a child or family in need.
As churches collaborate to gather and deliver the needed items, practical needs are met, connections are made, and relationships are formed that can lead to real transformation.
Community Networks connect churches with real-time needs for children and families in their local communities.
This is how it works.
-
Real-time needs are identified by child- and family-serving agency workers through their frontline work with children and families.
Once details of the need are vetted and confirmed, agency workers enter it into the CarePortal platform.
-
A network of Trained Response Teams from local churches is instantly alerted of the newly submitted need. Response teams review the request, determine if they can respond, and work together to gather the requested items.
-
Gathered items are delivered directly to the family by trained church response team members. This direct contact facilitates community connection and opens the door for ongoing relationship and support.
-
Once the request is met, churches and agencies are asked for feedback about the experience. This provides valuable input to ensure CarePortal is effectively serving families and to improve the experience for everyone involved.
Churches + CarePortal
The CarePortal technology allow our Community Networks to do more than just meet physical needs.
It opens the door for connection, and connection changes everything.
What Churches Are Saying
-
“It’s been really great to see CarePortal be exactly what it advertises itself as being. I met a need for a neighbor that lived a mile down the way. We got connected through the school request, and I probably would never have otherwise gotten to talk to her. But through CarePortal I got to meet a physical need, hear her story, pray with her, support her. It’s amazing.”

Over 85% of church responders agree that CarePortal made them more aware of the needs of children and families in their community and made it easier to assist with those needs.

"I helped a mother by delivering the CarePortal request submitted for her when she was pregnant… I maintain a friendship with this mother of three. We get together with our kids almost every week. When another CarePortal need was posted for her, I naturally stepped up as the connecting church to meet the need. We see each other consistently and she has visited my church."
