We’re building Community Networks, county by county, to connect people who can help with families that need help.
We partner with child-serving agencies to identify practical needs, then mobilize trained church volunteers and community members to meet those real-time needs while establishing meaningful connections that can lead to ongoing support.
Using the CarePortal technology platform as our connection tool, communities are able to step in and care directly for vulnerable children and families, proving that when neighbors help neighbors, everyone benefits.

How Community Networks Help
First, a child-serving agency identifies a practical need for a child or family and enters it into the CarePortal platform.
Alerts are instantly shared with a network of local churches, businesses, and individuals who are ready to work together to meet the need.
Items are gathered and delivered directly to the family by trained response team volunteers, facilitating community connection and relieving part of the burden on agency workers.
How It Works
Community Networks, connected through CarePortal, meet practical needs – like furniture for a single mom who is starting over after leaving an abusive relationship or essential baby items for an expectant mother.
Providing everything from cribs to clothing to basic necessities, Community Networks give dignity to families throught the help and hope that comes from neighbors putting compassion into action.
